Kailash Kher is a Sufi singer born in a small village of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. He is famous for his different and classical singing style. Kailash Kher has his roots in singing as his father was also into singing. His father used to sing Indian folk songs that enchanted Kailash to become a singer. Further, he got inspired by the Ghazals of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and took training from his father. Kailash Kher stepped in the Bollywood industry but did not have any god father. In spite of facing difficulties he was successful in marking his name in the list of top singers. He proved that talent needs no favor. He started his career by giving first bollywood appearance in the movie ‘Andaaz’ with the track ‘Rabba Ishq Na Hove’ in 2003. After the awesome success of this track he never looked back and continued climbing the steps of success by giving several hits in a row. He was by that time recognized as an established singer with the song ‘Allah Ke Bande’ (Waisa Bhi Hota Hai) that opened many doors to welcome this new amazing talent in the music industry. Kailash Kher formed his own band named as ‘Kailasa’ which includes musician brothers Paresh and Naresh and introduced ‘Kailsaa’ as his first private music album. Its track ‘Teri Deewani’ set new records for other upcoming singers and music albums and is difficult to match up. Kailash Kher also participated in a concert named as ‘The Incredibles’ with some of the legendary singers like Sonu Nigam, Asha Bhonsle and Kunal Ganjawala. Kailash Kher wrote lyrics for a number of tracks in many movies like traffic Signal, Kaal, Gehra Paani, Aap ki Khatir, Khosla Ka Ghosla. His fresh compositions can be enjoyed in the movie ‘Dasvidaniya’. Talking about his personal life he is still single. Presently he is judging a realty singing hunt show sharing his chair with some leading and reputed composer and lyricists Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik. Kailash Kher is famous for his soulful and high pitch singing that binds the listeners and connects them with almighty. He has added a spiritual ‘Gurbani’ album in his long list of hit albums.
