Bally Sagoo was born in Delhi and grew up in Britain. He was a music enthusiast that helped him out in making a career as an established musician and DJ. Bally Sagoo has always been with his black friends so was least involved or interested in composing Indian music. Due to his upbringing in Britain he was mot aware of what Asian culture is actually bout. Bally Sagoo’s compositions have high influence of western beats. His DJ beats were loved and appreciated by the masses and he gained popularity that drew him in the Bollywood Industry. He has always been pointed out to be among those who are credited to infuse indo-western music in the Indian music Industry. He is famous of giving a new form and shape to the musical notes by making an amazing mix of Pop, Rap, jazz and hip hop. In the year 1996, he made his Bollywood debut with the album ‘Bollywood Flashback’ which made him a start singer overnight. This album was followed by his second break through hit album ‘Rising from the east’ in the same year. Bally Sagoo has a production company named as ‘Ishq Records’ which has administered many renowned singers like Gunjan and Bohemia. The collaboration of Bally Sagoo and Hadiqa Kiyani, a Pakistani singer, has resulted in many popular tracks. One of their famous tracks is ‘Buhe Bariyan’. Bally Sagoo has composed music for the movie ‘Bend it like Beckham’ and have worked with the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan for the poetry composition of Harivansh Rai Bachchan, his father. He ahs also lend a great hand in the production Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s famous album ‘Magic Touch’. Bally Sagoo has a keen interest in working on those musical projects that are targeted to display the blend of original Asian and western music. He wants to exhibit all flavours and forms of Asian Music. He is an International star and is extremely versatile. He is extremely admired of delivering what actually the youth expects and demands.
