Adnan Sami was born and brought up in United Kingdom. His father belonged to Pakistan but lived in India. He was a Pakistani diplomat who was passionate about music and thus he learned jazz and classical music. Adnan after completing his graduation from King’s College London learnt Pakistani classical music. He was a great piano lover when he was young and opted to get training in music during his school and college days. For the first time, Adnan Sami was noticed by the legendary singer, Asha Bhosle during the R.D Burman concert in London. At this time, when Adnan was just 10 years old, Asha encouraged him to take up singing as a career. Adnan Sami then decided to take Indian classical music training from Mahraj Khatak and also took other lessons of different forms of Indian singing. Adnan Sami made his debut with his first music album with the most famous and enchanting voice of Bollywood, Asha Bhosle. The album was ‘Kabhi to Nazar Milao’ and ‘Tera chehra’ and casted many big bollywood stars like Rani Mukherjeee, Fardeen Khan, Amisha Patel, Amitabh Bachhan, Diya Mirza, Raveena Tandon and Mahima Chaudhary. Adnan Sami had also voiced for many Kannad movies. He also got an opportunity to host a TV show named ‘Bol Baby Bol’ on Star one. Recently he has composed music in Rahul Bose and Minissha Lamba starer ‘Shaurya’ (2008). At the personal front, he got married to movie star Zeba Bakhtiar and has a son named Azaan Khan but got divorced. Later, he married to Dubai-based, Sabah Galadari but again went through the phase of seperation. But recently, it is being said they have married again and have realised their ture love for each other. Adnan Sami accepted in a recent interview that they can’t live without each other and have settled all their previous personal disputes and are now happy together. Adnan Sami has received many awards on National as well as on International level. He has got his name recorded in ‘Limca Book of Records’, which is a great achievement. Adnan has been honored with a peace medal by United Nations and also got awarded with the title of “Break through artist of the year’ by MTV.
