Sunidhi Chauhan was born in Delhi and did her schooling from Greenway Public School, Dilshad Garden. She was a little girl of 18 years when she entered the Indian Music Industry. Her confidence and incredible singing style made her not only popular but an envy of million emerging singers. No doubt she is giving a tough competition to other singers of the music industry. Sunidhi received enormous support from her parents who were very well aware of the singing talent and passion that their daughter possessed. They shifted from Delhi to Mumbai in search of a great platform for their daughter. Sunidhi also won the talent hunt show named ‘Meri Aawaz Suno’ and released her first solo album ‘Aira Gaira Nathu Khaira’ which has been sold by her. In the meanwhile, Kalyanji formed a troupe of children which was named as ‘Little Wonders’ and Sunidhi was a part of that. Kalyanji who had already found germs of an emerging singing diva in Sunidhi gave her many opportunities to display her talent in many stage shows. Sunidhi did wonders and carried songs of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle wonderfully at that young age. Sunidhi Chauhan got her first singing break in the movie ‘Shastra’ after which she sung a number of tracks that gave a push to her singing career. But the track ‘Ruki ruki si Zindagi’ from the movie ‘Mast’ made her popular and favorite of all She also received the R.D Burman award of ‘Most promising newcomer’ for her playback singing in the movie ‘Mission Kashmir’. Sunidhi Chauhan is passionate about western music but being in this industry she has realized that a singer should be able to sing songs of all types. She is taking lessons of classical singing to improve her singing skills and add more hits in different genres also. Handling success is harder than getting success. But Sunidhi has always been a down to earth personality. She is extremely religious and never forgets to thank God for whatever she has achieved in her life. Sunidhi got married to Director/ producer Bobby Khan and got divorced in just one year and is now living with her parents.
