Himesh Reshammiya's father is a Gujarati Music Director and he decided to take up music as his career option to fulfill the dream of his father. At the age of 11, Himesh he lost his elder brother. After completing his schooling at the age of 16, he began his music journey and started working with a production house in Ahmedabad. Being from a family having musical background, Himesh did not face much trouble in getting promoted and finding a place for him in the Indian music industry. He gave his first Bollywood music composition in the movie 'Bandhan' in the year 1998. Himesh Reshammiya made his acting debut in 'Aap ka Suroor- The Real Love Story' in the year 2007 and the movie got a box office opening of 80%. He also made his mark as a sensational judge in India's most popular music competition 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge' broadcasted on Zee TV. Himesh Reshammiya has been a brilliant composer, a singer having unique style and an emerging actor. In the initial stages of his carrer, Himesh was criticized for his definite wearing style, his mysterious cap and had also been called a nasal singer.
