Music review: Welcome

Welcome is a musical blockbuster which has received back hands of three big names of the music industry Sajid-Wajid, Anand Raj Anand and Himesh Reshamiya. The musical expectations were undoubtedly high and the music did justice to the listener’s expectations to a great extent. This album features six tracks among which some you can’t afford to miss. The flagship number of this movie is the title track Welcome which features lots of variations but is not as good as expected. An ordinary number not recommended downloading. Next is ‘Ik uncha lamba kad’ sung by the musical maestro Anad raj Anand in his unique vocals and has managed to climb the charts. The song is a foot tapping number and has become very popular among the youth. This song is a perfect option to download and add to your musical collection. ‘Hont Rasile’ is a raunchy number having extremely ordinary composition. In spite of using Malaika as an eye candy, the song failed to stay in the hearts and minds of listeners. This song is an avoidable number. ‘Insha Allah’ comes next that initiates with slow beats and then proceeds on a fas and high pitched musical tones. The song is though loved by the audiences but was not capable enough to get admitted to the chart list. An ordinary song, not recommended to download. ‘Kiya Kiya’ is yet another addition to the genre of party collection this album holds. The song has an electrifying feel to it and the singing style delivered by the vocalists adds an X factor to the composition. This song is a perfect pick to download and add to your collection. ‘’Kola Laka Vellari’ arrives as an exception to the excellent collection of this album. This song is a mundane and one will experience a monotonous feel to it. The song is definitely not recommended to make a download. Overall, the album stands above average on musical grounds and some of its numbers deserve to get added to your musical collection.
