Music review: Tare Zameen Par

Tare Zameen Par is not just merely an entertaining story but also an attempt to enlighten the audience. In this film Aamir played three caps: the director, producer and actor. As always, he succeeded in fulfilling the expectations of the audience with a new and unique concept and a beautiful story line. Along with the unique story line the musical album of the movie also touched the hearts of the listeners and did wonders on the charts. The commendable job by the lyricist Prasoon Joshi and melodious music by the composer trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy did justice to the album by adding quality compositions to it. The song ‘Jame Raho’ offers a kick start to the album in the inimitable style of Vishal Dadlani. It’s a sweet song that inspires a student to take up the challenges in his life. Though its not one of the best song of the album but it is definitely worth listening and downloading. Coming next to the song ‘Kholo Kholo’ has been voiced by Raman Mahadevan. The song has a touch of the stylish country style so0ft rock with the sauntering guitar riffs. The song is delight for the ears and is a good quality addition for your collection. One of the most successful song of the movie, was the title track ‘Tare Zameen Par.’ The song occupied the charts for long. Its soothing music and the meaningful lyrics are a real treat for the listeners. The song has been recorded in the voice of a spectacular singer Shankar Mahadevan.
