Music review: Kidnap- Musical Trait

Pritam Chakraborty’s music album, Kidnap has high expectations of the listeners attached to it. The great composer and lyricist, Pritam has set a record of giving his fans the best and has always succeeded in fulfilling their expectations. However, in case of “Kidnap”, it cannot be said that it is one of the best works of this talented and brilliant man. Just have a look at the music review before going for downloading the tracks from this album as some of its tracks are really disappointing. One of the finest tracks is “Mit Jaye” composed by Pritam and two guest composers Sandeep and Sanjeev Vyas. The song has a perfect blend of the western beats accompanied by the rock. The music is also quite similar to the retro club music. It is a promotional track that can get the addressees to the music shops to buy the entire collection of this album. This track can be a good contender to get added in your download list. “Hey Ya” can be tagged as on of the most peppy numbers included in the chat lists now a days. This track is energetic and sensual and induces a lot of excitement in the spectators. Do not miss its download as it is definitely going to be a quality addition in your collection. “Mausam” is a beautiful track amazingly sung by Shreya Ghoshal in her melodious voice that enchants the listeners. The lyrics are brilliantly written and the music of this track leaves a deep impact on the listeners. This is a lovely song of this album and is worth getting a download. Next in the series is “Meri Ek Ada Shola” that has got the superb voices of Sunidhi Chauhan, Sukhwinder Singh and Akriti but still is a big disappointment for Pritam fans. It can be labelled as the weakest track of Kidnap’s music album. This track holds no reason of getting entry in the top chart numbers. If you are thinking to download this song, then you need to give it a second thought. “Haan Ji” sung by Adnan Sami is also one among the collection of this album. This track lacks the originality and differentiations from the previous compositions of Pritam. This number is not refreshment for listeners so my recommendation for its download is negative. However, the music album of “Kidnap” has failed to do miracles, but some of its tracks namely ‘Hey Ya’ and ‘Mit Jaye’ are doing well in the play lists.
