Music review: Hum Saath Saath Hain - Joy of Living Together

After the huge success of Maine Pyar Kiya and Hum Apke Hain Kaun, Sooraj R Barjatya, came up with another home production Hum Saath Saath Hain. The movie was a blockbuster and did wonders on the playlist. The music was not only appreciated but was considered one amongst the finest works of Ram Laxman. The musical album of the movie is praised due to its magical lyrics written by R. Kiran, Mitali Shashank, Ravinder Rawal and Dev Kohli, that can captivate the listeners easily. The music was influenced with the folk touch and was more into expressing family emotions and love. The musical album of the movie gained no less success than the previous Rajshree productions. First and the most popular number, Yeh to Sach Hai Ki Bhagwan Hai was loved by the listeners and was a tribute to elders. It was delivered in the melodious voices of Hariharan and Pratima Rao that added soul to the lyrics. The song is a wonderful option to download. Coming next to the list is Mhare Hiwda Mein which is a traditional folk song and has been recorded in the voices of a number of leading singers of the industry including Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Hariharan. It is a catchy Rajasthani song that has been beautifully picturised that leaves a long term impact on the listeners. The song is a real treat to download and fills you with energy and enthusiasm. The song Maiya Yashoda is another good option to download. The song has been voiced by the crowned princesses of playback singing, Alka Yagnik, Anuradha Paudwal and Kavita Krishnamurthy. Though other songs of the musical album could not do well on the play lists but overall, they could be rated above average. The title track Hum Saath Saath Hain did fairly well but did not matched the excellence delivered by the above mentioned songs.
